COMPLETED MILESTONE:

LAND PURCHASED

Banana Stem Planted

From Seed to Dignity: Planting the Future of Feminine Hygiene in Ghana

The Scarlett Project is taking a giant leap forward! We've secured the land, finalized the blueprints, and are ready to break ground on a revolutionary project that will empower girls and protect the planet.

Imagine: lush fields of banana plants swaying in the Ghanaian breeze, not just fueling delicious fruit but nourishing a future of dignity and well-being. On this very land, a state-of-the-art factory will soon rise, transforming these organic fibers into biodegradable sanitary pads for teenage girls in West Africa.

This isn't just a farm and a factory; it's a symbol of hope. It represents:

  • Sustainability: Banana fiber is a renewable, locally-sourced material that decomposes quickly, minimizing environmental impact.
  • Affordability: By growing and processing the materials ourselves, we'll keep costs down, ensuring every girl can access these pads.
  • Empowerment: By supplying free, comfortable, and eco-friendly menstrual products, we're giving girls the confidence and freedom to manage their periods with dignity.
  • Education: Alongside pad distribution, we'll provide comprehensive hygiene education and break taboos surrounding menstruation.

This journey wouldn't be possible without your support. Your donations, your awareness, and your belief in girls' rights fuel our mission.
